Steve Barron started his carreer as a cameraman for movies. He was second cameraman on the production for Superman and later Ridley ScottīsThe Duelist. In 1979 he founded in team with his sister Siobhan Barron a music video production company, this company was named Limelight later. In 1981 he made his breaktrough with the video for Human Leagueīs 'Donīt You Want Me'. A lot of famous videos followed, among them Michael Jacksonīs 'Billy Jean' and a co-director job with Thomas Dolby in 'She Blinded Me With Science'. In 1984 he made the movie 'Electric Dreams'.
